Thanks Tim! I kind of wish I’d had my D600 and wide angle lens to really capture the scope of this glade. It was breathtaking (and I’m not even talking about the climb!)
Trees are so difficult to capture well. A wide angle would have helped but then there is the distortion. I think you’ve captured these well. Your image is more about the impression it creates than the specific trees in the image.
Thanks Tim. What was striking about the place, though, was the openness of the glade. Still, the glittery snow crystals were a big part of what I was trying to capture.
