A simple composition

While skiing yesterday, my eye was caught by the simplicity of this composition. Twigs, branches, snow…

Elm buds encapsulated in ice

The recent freezing rains (ugh) left a little magic behind in the form of a layer of ice on branches and twigs. These elm buds have a pretty thick coat!

The March on Montpelier

Some shots of today’s tremendous march for Women’s Rights (and all of our rights!) in Montpelier. Largest crowd ever congregated on the Statehouse Lawn.

A fine view of Camel’s Hump from the porch of the Stark’s Nest at Mad River Glen

Yesterday’s bluebird conditions made for a lovely portrait of Camel’s Hump from the porch of the Stark’s Nest at the top of Mad River Glen’s Single Chair.
