Yes it was! I’m glad you got out to see it! I coerced my wife to get up from in front of the warm fire and brave the -5 degrees to check it out as well!

I live in NH, and your nature photos move me deeply. I’m making an educational documentary of my caring for my wife through over 10 years of her dementia to her death 3 years ago. I would like to use this photo of the Moon, Venus, and Mars in it to illustrate her conflicting emotional states. I would also like to use your photo of Full “Super Moon” to illustrate a peaceful window of lucidity which she experienced near her death. Please let me know what sort of arrangement I could arrange with you for permission to use these two photos and possibly others. I would be deeply grateful.
Hi John,
I’m very touched that my photos have touched you and that you see them as fitting for your documentary. My mother-in-law is currently suffering from Alzheimer’s so I have a bit of a window, albeit somewhat distant, to what that entails. I’d be happy to donate my photos to your project. You’re welcome to use whichever ones you’d like. I’d just ask for credit someplace! Let me know if you need higher resolution copies and I’d be happy to provide!
Thanks so much John. I will be in touch after consultation with my two film makers who are helping me put this film together. I’m learning a lot, and it’s taking more time that I had expected. I will let you know when we decide on whaat images to use. We probably would need high resulution images.
My condolances about your mother-in-law. I hope she is getting good care and that you and your family are getting your own support. I have found several books helpful, whiich I could suggest if you are interested. I’m not sure reality will match your art. Thanks again for being out there!
