As I walked outside yesterday morning to head out for a morning ski, I heard a mellifluous song coming from the oak tree at the edge of our front field. Looking up, I spotted this bright, raspberry splashed bird sitting in the tree singing his little heart out in the morning sun. I rushed back in the house to grab my camera, hoping that he’d still be there, and he was! It was a great way to greet the morning!

This image is very nice. A bit of color in a black and white dominated winter.

Thanks Tim! Yes the color was nice but the song was what really struck me and got my attention!
