A field of dandelions in Huntington Center
This scene greeted us on our arrival as we stepped out onto the back deck of our chalet in Chamonix for the first time. The Dôme de Goûter and Aiguille de Bionassay were shrouded in cloud and lit up with sunset alpenglow.
The purple trillium is in bloom down by Fargo Brook. I love the wine-rich color of the petals.
