Raindrops bead on a red maple leaf in our front field
The frequent rains have provided ample opportunity to study raindrops. The line up of droplets on the stem of this red maple leaf caught my eye from a distance and drew me right in.

The red oak in our front yard still has plenty of leaves to contribute to the winter still life. They leathery copper color contrasts brilliantly with the new fallen snow.
